But what does it mean to get better? Better than what? Better than they were in some moment in the past? Better than someone else is? Getting better is far too limiting a definition of healing. It's that time seems to be moving faster as well as expanding. This transition is referred to by many names. "The Shift" and "Shift of the Ages" are two terms used by Gregg Braden. The transition was predicted by the Mayans, the Incas, the Hopi, Nostradamus, Edgar Cayce, and the Kabbalah (both Jewish and Christian). In Walking Between the Worlds, Braden defines this shift as "both a time in Earth history as well as an experience of human consciousness. Defined by the convergence of decreasing planetary magnetics and increasing planetary frequency upon a point in time, the Shift of the Ages, or simply, The Shift, represents a rare opportunity of collectively repatterning the expression of human consciousness. The Shift is the term applied to the process of Earth accelerating through a course of evolutionary change, with the human species linked, by choice, to the electromagnetic fields of Earth, following suit through a process of cellular change."    In the healing realm, many of the techniques that have stood the test of time function just as well now as they always did. However it's just that we now have more, and we now are more, so the old techniques are no longer enough. A Reconnective Healing™ session involves the practitioner using his/her hands to allow a flow of high-level frequencies (energy/light/information) into the auric field of the client while the client lays comfortably on a massage table. It does not involve any physical touching or body contact. Reconnective Healing™ assists in renewing the human body and energy system at the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual levels. This self-healing is the true healing in Reconnective Healing™.      [Top] Session Description    The client will lie fully clothed in a relaxed manner on a standard massage table in my private office. The client needs to keep their eyes closed and simply mentally observe changes that may happen. As the Practitioner, I will be moving my hands at various distances from the client. There is usually no physical contact nor conversation.      [Top] Clothing    Wear Comfortable clothes. The office will be warm and wearing a T-shirt, blouse or shirt will be optimal during the session itself. You will most likely be lying on your back on a padded massage table face-up, shoes off.      [Top] Fragrances and Scents    Please avoid the use of perfumes and heavily scented personal products. The office is maintained as scent free as possible.      [Top] Jewelry    There are no restrictions on jewelry or watches as they have no detrimental effect and may be worn as long as you are comfortable.      [Top] Cell Phones and Pagers    All the gadgetry needs to be turned off or left in the car prior to entering, thanks. Consider having a gadget-free day to help de-stress and to relax the mind more by having fewer unsettling intrusions prior to the session.      [Top] State of Mind    The best way to allow a healing to proceed is to relax into a state of expectancy. Allow your expectations or attachment to possible outcomes to recede by simply observing that which is to be observed without judgment or active mental engagement. Close your eyes and simply notice. Observe, withdraw your participation and the thought processes will slow. Do not engage, simply observe. Notice and let go as if you have some unexpected rest time.    Do not attempt to direct or enhance the experience. Do not breathe a special way, do not visualize, do not meditate or use mantras and do not do anything you may think will help. It will not help. Notice and let go.
